Uniforms

The purpose of the YES Prep North Forest uniform policy is to promote an environment where students are focused on a culture of learning. The guidelines below cover the major aspects of our uniform policy. Students will be dressed in the YES Prep North Forest uniform every day unless stated otherwise from administration. Students are expected to be neatly dressed and groomed at all times. The official uniform consist of the following components:

Shirts
  • All students must wear a purple or navy YES Prep polo.
  • High School students have the option of wearing the white YES Prep North Forest polo.
Shorts, Pants, Slacks, Capris and Skirts
  • Middle School students
    • Only khaki bottoms- shorts, capris, and skirts are permitted but must be at least fingertip length.
    • A black or brown belt must be worn with all bottoms that contain belt loops.
    • Bottoms with rips and tears will not be permitted.
  • High School students
    • Black, blue, or khaki bottoms can be worn- shorts, capris, and skirts are permitted but must be at least fingertip length.
    • A black or brown belt must be worn with all bottoms that contain belt loops.
    • Bottoms with rips and tears will not be permitted.

Shoes

  • All students must wear close toe shoes.
  • The following shoes are not considered safe:  Heelys, crocs, high heels, sandals, flip-flops, and open toe shoes.

Coats and Outer Garments

  • Only YES Prep fleeces, cardigans, pullovers or athletics jackets purchased from YES Prep will be allowed during school hours.

NORTH FOREST UNIFORMS

Student uniforms should be purchased through the YES Prep approved vendor website. The vendor web address is communicated during the summer prior to the start of school. Students are responsible for ordering their required uniform through this site and having a complete uniform starting the first day of school through the remainder of the school year.  

Financial Hardships 

Students with a financial hardship can reach out to their campus Student Support Counselor for assistance with the purchase of uniforms. Assistance will be determined based on need.  

Exchanges/Returns 

For exchanges, returned merchandise can be brought to campus front office or directly to the vendor. In both cases, the vendor is responsible for supplying uniforms in the exchange.
