Message from the Principal

Welcome, Legends! We most recently celebrated our 10th year of YES Prep North Forest, and although we did not close out the year as planned, we are incredibly proud of all the hard work our students, families, and staff put in to end the year strong. This year we faced the challenge of learning to navigate a virtual climate, but remained consistent in our commitment to our values, and we cannot wait to continue this work as we enter the upcoming school year. Our priorities for the year surround the creation of a Culture of Excellence consisting of effective instruction and an inclusive environment for all stakeholders. We believe that students who are exposed to a Culture of Excellence while in a safe and consistent environment can experience joyful engagement that will lead to student achievement!

Succeeding James Mosley as the Principal of YES Prep North Forest is Bryce Moore, who formerly served as the MS Dean of Students and Director of Student Support at North Forest. Mr. Moore began his journey in education as a teacher in Kipp Polaris Academy for Boys where he fell in love with the North Forest Community. After serving as a Resident Principal at YES Prep Brays Oaks, he is back and eager to  and lead North Forest into a great year amidst this unprecedented time in education!

Uniform Policy

YES Prep will waive the uniform policy for students for the Fall Semester. YES Prep understands the COVID-19 pandemic has created or increased the economic challenges our families face. Students will follow the “free dress” policy as outlined in our Campus Supplement.
