Enrollment

YES Prep Public Schools is a public charter school system in Houston, TX that helps graduates earn college degrees at four times the rate of their peers. YES Prep is open and tuition-free to all children with no special requirements for admittance, providing transportation, special education, English language learning and all public school services. Although YES Prep does not have any admission exams or interviews to admit students, we use a random, automated lottery for schools when there are more students interested in attending than available classroom space.

As the highest performing public school system in Houston, all of YES Prep’s eligible schools are ranked in the top 10 percent in Texas and nationally by U.S. News and World Report. While many students enter YES Prep Public Schools performing below grade level, YES Prep educators have, for more than 20 years, increased the number of students from underserved communities who graduate from college prepared to lead.
